15 lakh youngsters to be trained to use BHIM App – Pm Modi

Good News – Under BHIM(Bharat Interface for money)Volunteers of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) have decided to train 15 lakh youngsters . This decision has been taken by further Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s digital initiative. This training programme started on  April 8 and will continue till April 14 (the birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar). During this week, BJYM will train about 15 lakh youths about BHIM App.

BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) is a Mobile App developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), based on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). It was launched by Prime Minister Modi, at a Digi Dhan mela at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on December 30, 2016. This app has been named after Bhim Rao Ambedkar and is intended to facilitate e-payments directly through banks and as part of the 2016 Indian banknote demonetization and drive towards cashless transactions.

Awareness drive in Lucknow has already been started and adjoining areas about the the benefits of the BHIM App, and it will facilitate cashless transaction under programme

Rs 1 crore winner India customer of Central Bank in Lucky Draw

A central Bank customer wins One Crore in Lucky Draw under Lucky Grahak Yojana. This change has come in person life by doing a transaction of Rs 1,590 . Centre of Excellence launched to support digital India by HP

HP Inc on Wednesday launched its first ‘Centre of Excellence’ (CoE) in India to promote digital India mission.The CoE is the fifth in the world and first in India for HP Indigo. Transaction Charges should be removed on e-Payments

Digital Payment method is spreading in the country. A lot of traders said these days that Pm Modi should remove Transaction Charges on E payments – By doing this people will be more aware and it will help people to adopt Digital Payment Method easily. as they don’t have to pay charges. According to CAIT National President B.C. Bhartia Transaction charges are making digital payment method very hard to adopt by people. According to CAIT transaction charges should be subsidized by government for faster adoption.

Traders – Transaction Charges should be removed on e-Payments

In August 2015 a draft proposal was also called by Government for E Traders to help them adopt digital payments

They also proposed a incentive plan under which they proposed that the incentive could be in form of TAX either or benefits of Wavier . ALL mean to embrace e payment system to traders.

Recently a new decision has been made by government.Small traders and businesses with a turnover of up to Rs 2 crore will pay less tax if they accept payments through banking and digital means, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said recently. The main aim to take this step is  only to  to achieve the government’s mission of moving towards a less cash economy and to incentive’s small traders/businesses to proactively accept payments by digital means.

This means only 30% tax advantage will be available on Digital Payments for small traders.

 

Pm asked people to teach Bhim App to 125 people

Corruption free India is a new Campaign these days. Pm has already taken so many steps in order to make India corruption free. Digital Payment Declaration is one of those .Declaring digital payments will help fight corruption and proliferation of black money.Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday also asked help of people in this campaign  said each citizen should teach 125 persons how to use the Bharat Interface for Money(BHIM) digital payment app.
